- Kathy reviewed the rules of order and procedure with all members.
- October Information:
- Reviewed School Trust Land Plan
- Reading goal is to decrease students in the at-risk category by 20% (last year we met the goal with 22%) using HMH Growth Measure.
- Kaiann asked, does HMH have any learning games to help students?

- New elementary school, probable location in Hyde Park, maybe Smithfield

- Unanimous approval of the minutes.
- Digital Citizenship - Clayton White:
- A committee goes over the policies to make sure that they are current and up-to-date.
- There are places to receive training on how to be safe while using the internet.
- Trudy mentioned that Mrs. Bowles (the school librarian) does Internet Safety training in her class.
- Internet Filtering - It’s not 100% effective, but it’s being checked/monitored every day.
- GoGauardian - Teachers use it while students are on their Chromebooks.
- Mrs. Wilson gets notifications when anything is out of the ordinary.
- Student Email Accounts - Students can only email CCSDUT accounts until they are in 9th grade.
- Social Networking - For the most part they are blocked because there’s not an educational reason that they need to be on social networks.

- Safe Routes Utah:
- Safe walking routes - 600 West has sidewalks on both sides.
- Review City Council Parking Decision:
- No parking on the south side of the road on 220 North.
- Not sure when it will be implemented.
- Free & Reduced Lunch/Title One:
- If our numbers are not up by next year, we will lose our Title One status.
- Trudy is going to ask for a one-year extension.
- Are parents not applying and just sending their kids with home lunch?
- Kaitlyn is wondering if Title One has adjusted their policy to the cost of living?

- Doing great on the spending and spending it how we intended.

- Approve November Minutes:
- Unanimous approval of the minutes.
- Review Mid-Year Data:
- Trust Land Plan: GOAL – Decrease in students in the at-risk category – with HMH Growth Measure.
- Started with 23.8% of students well below grade level. In winter it decreased to 13.2% of students well below grade level.
- Trust Land Budget:
- We still have 36% of our budget remaining (right on track to finish the year).
- The remainder will basically be used to pay para-professionals.

- TSSA Plan:
- Help pay for Counselor, additional funding for ½ time teacher, etc.
- Goal – Median growth would be 50% or higher
- We hit 60%
- Money left for teacher salaries and para-professionals. We have about 35% remaining (on track to finish the year)
- Goals for Next Year:
- Language Arts goal will be tricky to figure out because the district is changing the Language Arts curriculum for every grade.
- Acadience Reading goal???
- Math Goal – Possibly iReady again
- We will meet again to finalize goals for next year.
- RISE Testing:
- Proctors are needed – someone who will be there to watch ethical behavior.
- Stand back to watch, walk around the classroom, etc.

- Review School LAND Trust Plan 24-25:
- Using Acadience Reading Pathways to measure goals
- Money will be used for Paras
- Follett- - our library system
- Substitute teachers for PD/PLC days
- Chromebooks - (updated & cycling through)
- Reading Counts going away… so funds were allocated elsewhere

- We did not qualify as a school for Title 1 funds (35.5%)
- Mrs. Wilson has typed up a waiver rationale that we need to send in to try and receive the funds (about $100,000).
- The council talked about ideas on how we can help parents know about the funds and what we are losing. We also talked about how we can get more parents to apply.
